Initiating Social Skills is a personal and independent living skills tutorial program for people with cognitive disabilities. It is designed to teach and reinforce basic communication skills and concepts to aid a person to initiate a social interaction with another individual using socially acceptable behaviors and actions. The application contains 80 videos and is narrated with human-quality audio. One instance of Initiating Social Skills can be used on the same device by multiple people and administered by a therapist or care provider in a password-protected administration section. The administrator can make specific assignments for each user based on individual needs. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.
