Impulse Foot

The Impulse Foot is a prosthetic foot designed for use by individuals with lower extremity amputation. The foot consists of a composite foot plate attached to a recessed Kevlar/nylon keel, and can be used for endoskeletal, exoskeletal, or Symes applications. It is available with five levels of toe resistance (very low, low, regular, high, or very high), and comes with a shaped foam ankle and three heel inserts (one each with soft, medium, and firm density). OPTIONS: Titanium foot pyramid; multiaxial Impulse ankle; pyramid spacer block; Impulse Symes adapter kit; Symes nut; Impulse exoskeletal kit; Impulse transfer block; interface plate (regular or large). DIMENSIONS: Length is 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, or 31 centimeters; women's feet are available in lengths from 22 to 27 centimeters only. Heel height is 0.38 or 1.13 inches for women's foot and 0.38 or 0.75 inches for men's foot. Clearance is 1.38 inches. CAPACITY: 350 pounds. WEIGHT: Men's 26-centimeter foot weighs 453 grams (1 pound); the women's 26-centimeter foot weighs 400 grams (0.88 pounds). COLOR: Medium brown, tan, or buff. WARRANTY: One year and three weeks from purchase. If the user rejects the foot within 30 days, it may be returned for full credit.
