The Amigo Lift-It is an electric, hitch-mounted wheelchair/scooter loader with a built-in control designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities. The lift is designed to be installed on cars, vans, or trucks with Class II or III receiver hitches and swing-away or hatch-type doors (fold-down tailgates not compatible). No permanent installation is required, and the lift is fully transferable between vehicles. The Lift-It disassembles into four lightweight components when not in use so that the vehicles full storage capacity is usable. The lift's boom swivels more than 90 degrees and the lift arm fits seat posts 1.5 to 2 inches in diameter. POWER: 12-volt motor is powered by a stand-alone direct current (DC) rechargable power source. Each full charge allows for an estimated 20-23 up-down cycles. OPTIONS: Arm packages for lifting with and/or without the seat attached to the scooter. DIMENSIONS: The lift's arm extends from 22.5 to 31 inches and has 38 to 44.5 inches vertical adjustment. Minimum opening width is 56 inches; minimum opening height is 38 inches (measured from the center of the hitch square up to the lowest point of opening). CAPACITY: 200 pounds lifting capacity. WEIGHT: 53 pounds. The boom and post assembly weigh 18 pounds; the swivel bar weighs 10 pounds; the mounting bracket weighs 13 pounds; the power source weighs 12 pounds. WARRANTY: 3-year limited warranty on all parts except power source. Power source warranty offered by Universal Battery.
