The Basement Motorhome Lift, model 129, is a wheelchair lift without a platform for use on high floor motorhomes and buses with a floor height between 34 and 51 inches. Instead of a platform to support the chair, manual and powered wheelchairs and their occupants are raised and lowered by means of a pivoting arm and a vertical track. The lift requires only 9.5 inches of wall space inside. The lift will not interfere with other people entering the vehicle. Chains with webbed strapping attach onto the frame of the wheelchair to suspend it from the arm and allow the chair to tip to allow for clearance through the door. This lift can be operated by the user or an attendant with a hand held control panel. Models are available for mounting on either the right or left side of the door. POWER: Uses the vehicle's battery. DIMENSIONS: Track length is 65 inches. Works on any door opening at least 3 inches wider than the wheelchair. CAPACITY: Maximum lift capacity is 400 to 500 pounds.
