Sedro-Woolley man arrested for child rape, molestation

Jul. 2—ANACORTES — Anacortes police arrested a 30-year-old Sedro-Woolley man Friday for investigation of rape of a child and child molestation.
The man was taken into custody in the morning at his Anacortes workplace and was later booked into the Skagit County Community Justice Center.
According to an Anacortes Police Department news release, the arrest followed a monthlong investigation.
The release said the alleged incident took place about a year ago, but was not reported until later.
