Riverside dance instructor arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing former student

Press-Enterprise - 6/18/2022

A Moreno Valley man suspected of molesting a student at a Riverside dance studio where he worked was arrested Thursday.

A woman told authorities this month that she was abused for several years as a child while taking lessons from her instructor, Quincy John Jacinto, at the Riverside Dance Academy, police said. Most of the abuse occurred at the dance studio and ended in 2020, they said.

Jacinto, 47, was arrested Thursday and booked into the Robert Presley Jail on suspicion of lewd acts on a child, sexual penetration of a minor and oral copulation of a minor, according to arrest records. He was released on $200,000 bail Friday.

He is set to appear at the Riverside Hall Of Justice on August 18. No charges have been filed yet.
