Lancaster County man to face 33 counts of sexual abuse, including of children: prosecutors

Patriot-News - 6/16/2020

Six children are among those who were sexually assaulted by a New Holland man set to face trial for 33 counts of abuse from a seven-year span, according to Lancaster District Attorney Heather Adams.

Gustavo Rendon, 51, is charged with 21 felonies for crimes that occurred between 2003 and 2010 in Lancaster and Berks counties.

A Lancaster District Judge recently ruled there’s enough evidence to charge Rendon with each felony, as well as 12 other counts.

Rendon, also known as “Tavi,” raped and physically abused his victims, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Police allege he took two of the girls he abused to places where others abused them, as well.

Rendon’s bail was set at $500,000.

Authorities ask anyone with information about Rendon to contact state police at 717-290-1965.
