Man charged with domestic assault

A man was charged with domestic assault after a Thursday morning incident.

At approximately 9 a.m., police received two reports of a man and a woman in a physical dispute at a house on Kirkcaldy Drive.

When officers arrived they found a 21-year-old woman had been allegedly grabbed by the hair and throat and forced into a residence.

The man was arrested for domestic assault and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 3.
